About Louise

Louise Parry is considered to be one of the leading designers in silversmithing and jewellery working in the UK today.

From her studio practice in the Cotswolds she makes highly individual jewellery, timepieces and silverware in gold, silver, platinum and palladium. Whether a silver and gold gem set clock, or a pair of sapphire cufflinks from her limited edition range, her covetable works are often treasured as family heirlooms. She has a range of beautiful pieces on display and for sale both in her studio and also in selected exhibitions and galleries.

Louise specialises in commission work, including wedding and engagement rings and remodelling a client’s own jewellery. She is constantly exploring new shapes and forms while maintaining a strong contemporary identity. Clean lines are cut into hand forged pieces to define form, followed by precise positioning of gemstones.

Her work has won many awards – most recently in 2019 when she was the recipient of a Highly Commended from Future Icons Accessories Award for her latest silver clock. Louise is included in the Goldsmiths Company directory ‘Who’s Who in Gold & Silver’.  As well as opening her own shop in 2016 Louise has also been featured in The Financial Times, The Evening Standard and Vogue and has exhibited her work at prestigious shows such as Goldsmiths Fair. Her work is featured in private collections throughout the world with her Desktop Clock recently purchased for the Pearson Silver Collection.

In December 2014, she was honoured to be made a Freeman of The Worshipful Company Of Goldsmiths at a ceremony at Goldsmiths’ Hall in London and in 2019 she received the Freedom of the City of London.
